About Luke
Luke has practised in commercial litigation, construction and insurance law, and insolvency for more than three decades - helping clients navigate complex contractual and liability disputes.
Luke specialises in claims arising from design, construction and consulting contracts and from defective and incomplete building and infrastructure works. Representing insurers, principals, contractors and consultants, he regularly manages litigation in the Australian courts and both domestic and international arbitrations.
Luke also has specialist expertise in Body Corporate and Community Management law and regularly represents large Bodies Corporate. He assists with commercial building contracts, disputes with lot owners, and committee and body corporate obligations. He regularly handles disputes in BCCM Adjudications as well as proceedings in the Civil and Administrative Tribunals.
With extensive experience in dispute resolution, Luke holds a Certificate in Adjudication from the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators (Resolution Institute) and is a past member of the Queensland Law Society’s Practice and Procedure Committee. He has been recognised in the Australian edition of Best Lawyers since 2020 in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Litigation.
