About Michelle
Michelle has acted in personal injury claims, professional negligence actions, disciplinary proceedings, employment practices liability claims, defamation, misrepresentation, breach of contract, property damage claims, and fraud and fidelity claims.
Michelle has a special interest in employment practices liability claims and has represented employers before the Australian Human Rights Commission and Anti-Discrimination Commission of Queensland. This has been in respect of sexual harassment and discrimination claims, as well as actions pertaining to bullying, harassment, wrongful dismissal, sham contracting, and claims alleging underpayment of statutory entitlements before the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Circuit Court, and the Federal Court of Australia.
Michelle also provides advice on policy construction and interpretation to insured entities, insurers, and underwriters.
